Mold Remediation
Mold remediation typically includes containment suited to the job, HEPA air filtration, and cleaning or removal of affected materials. Where the job calls for a check of the finished work by someone else, it should be done by the original assessor or another independent professional, not the company that did the work.

Under Florida Statute 468.8419, a mold assessor or the assessor's company may not remediate a building it assessed in the last 12 months, and a mold remediator or its company may not assess a building it remediated in the last 12 months. State-certified general, building and residential contractors are exempt.
